We have added seven new issued patents to our growing patent estate in calendar year 1998. The most recent to be issued are:

Protein-enriched thermoplastics
issued on September 15, 1998
 
U.S. Patent No. 5,817,303:
Bonding together tissue with adhesive containing polyfunctional crosslinking agent and protein polymer
issued on October 6, 1998

Public Warrants
 

The public warrants (PPTIW), issued in conjunction with PPTI's 1992 public offering, no longer meet Nasdaq's listing requirements due to a lack of market makers, and as a consequence, are no longer listed on the Nasdaq SmallCap stock quotation system. These warrants, and their underlying common shares, are still registered and fully tradable.
